Jubilee’s Pop-Up Picnic – Easter Edition!

On Sunday, 14 April we held our last Jubilee pop-up picnic before a winter hiatus! The pop-up picnic, which was Easter themed, proved a huge hit with our valued residents and wider Wyndham community.

Approximately 350 attended the picnic to enjoy the array of food truck offerings, including kebabs, and Just Like Nonnas serving a range of Italian favourites.

All attendees mingled and relaxed with their neighbours while enjoying the live music of laid-back tunes from a Jubilee favourite, Louis Thompson Cooke!

We also kept a few added surprises up our sleeve to celebrate the occasion, including a visit from the Easter Bunny, an Easter bonnet parade open to both kids and pets, delicious hot cross buns and coffee. We extend a huge thank you to all the kids that participated in the Easter bonnet parade. Everyone made an absolutely tremendous effort and there were many fabulous hats and ears on show! We look forward to the parade being bigger and better next year! It was really egg-sellent!!

Neighbourhood Watch also attended and was a great success with many Jubilee residents registering to be involved in either the Jubilee NHW Committee or regular Jubilee NHW activities and information sessions that are proposed in the future. For those Jubilee residents who could not make it, we have some co-branded magnets and stickers to use in your window promoting NHW – Please come on down to our Sales and Information Centre to collect. We encourage everyone to get involved and look out for each other and your neighbours!
