Fromage a Trois:

When & Where: Sunday 6th March, 10:30am – 6pm, Werribee Park Mansion

What’s on: Melbourne’s premier cheese and cider festival, Fromage a Trois, returns to the historic Werribee Park Mansion on Sunday 6 March.

The festival will feature over 60 exhibitors, offering guests the chance to indulge in Australia’s finest produce and meet the makers in a spectacular setting.

Guests will have the chance to enjoy a range of Australian and International cuisine, including cheese platters, raclette’s and pizza, plus crisp ciders, award-winning wines and a variety of delicious cheeses.

Located just 30 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD and with tickets selling fast, this is definitely an experience you don’t want to miss.

Cultural Diversity Cup:

When & Where: Saturday 12th March, 8am – 4pm, Galvin Park

What’s on: Wyndham City is kick starting Cultural Diversity Week with a friendly soccer tournament – and we’re inviting everyone to come and watch.

The Wyndham Cultural Diversity Cup is on Saturday, 12th March at Galvin Park and will feature womens, boys and mens games throughout the day.

The Cultural Diversity Cup is part of Cultural Diversity Week, which is a state wide celebration of Victoria’s cultural, linguistic and religious diversity. The Cup is also supported by Victoria Police, SBS, Channel 31 and the Werribee Community Education Centre and will feature celebrity teams as well as other entertainment for the crowd. The Mikado:

When & Where: Thursday 17th March, 7:30pm, Wyndham Cultural Centre

What’s on: The Gilbert and Sullivan Company of Australia are back for 2016 for the final Australian tour with their brand new show. Following the outstanding success of their hysterical production and world first “HMS Pinafore” and their critically acclaimed production of “Pirates to Pinafore” which toured in 2010, the gang are returning with a fantastic new treatment of the most popular Gilbert & Sullivan Classic of all time The Mikado.

This new version of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Classic performed in full costume, with scenery painted by the best in Australia, Scenic Studios, will again contain many more musical delights as well as comedy scenes that will have audiences in gales of laughter.

Wyndham Community T20 Cup:

When & Where: Sunday 13th March, 10:30am registration, Howqua Way Reserve

What’s on: Manor Lakes Cricket Club is hosting the second annual Wyndham Community T20 Cup on Sunday 13 March at Howqua Way Reserve, Manor Lakes. Individuals and teams can register for a T20 Blast competition – most suited to participants aged 8-12 who have played MiloIn2Cricket, T20Blast, U11’s or just love having a game with their friends in the schoolyard.

The day will also involve an All Abilities Skill Zone, Girls Skill Zone, player/coach appearances and other attractions. Click here to find out more.

Weerama Festival:

When & Where: Friday 18th March – Sunday 20th March, various locations

What’s on: The Weerama festival has been held in the Wyndham region for the last 38 years. Including the iconic Weerama street parade, fireworks, amusements, entertainment and much more, the 2016
festival will be running during the 18th and 20th of March.

Festival of Colours, Holi 2016:

When & Where: Saturday 19th March, 11am – 9pm, Werribee Racecourse

What’s on: Holi Fest is back! After drawing a record breaking crowd last year at the Werribee Race Course, Festivals of South Asia Inc (FOSAI) is all set to host this year’s Holi Festival at the Race Course. With a massive line up of amazing local DJs and unlimited colours, the party promises to be non-stop this year. FOSAI has sourced amazing bright colours, water pistols, fun costumes, masks and much more to make your Holi celebrations this year the BEST EVER experience.

Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt & Family Picnic:

When & Where: Friday 25th March, Werribee Park

What’s on: Children aged three to 12 can take part in one of the many egg hunts throughout the day, make Easter gifts at the Arts and Crafts tent and will be able to visit the carnival area complete with pony rides, face painting and sack races.

The lovable Cadbury Easter Bunny is excited to meet and greet the children and entertain the crowd this year! Proceeds from the Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt and Family Picnic go directly to the Good Friday Appeal which benefits children and families at The Royal Children’s Hospital.

Green Living Series 2016:

When & Where: Various dates and locations in February and March

What’s on: The Green Living Series is back bigger and better than ever this February and March. With a huge array of events on offer to keep you entertained this summer, the program contains over 20 FREE events including workshops, tours and open days. There is such a variety to choose from there is sure to be something for you!

Events on offer include workshops on organic edible gardens, cooking with leftovers, composting and worm farms and fruit tree workshops.
