What’s on in Wyndham Vale – November 2017

Get outside this month and soak up spring in Jubilee! From barefoot bowls to essential oils, there is something for everyone in our local community. Below are our four top picks to get involved in this November.

1. Deep West Block Party

When: Saturday 4 November 2017, 4-9pm

Where: Wyndham Cultural Centre, 177 Watton Street Werribee VIC 3030

What: The Deep West Block Party is a new community event at the Werribee City Centre at

Wyndham Cultural Centre in the car park, where you can connect with friends and the community
while soaking up some spring vibes.

Cost: Free!

Who should attend: Style up, bring the family and express yourself in the Deep West.


2. Wyndukes Ukulele Hum ’n’ Strum

When: Friday 27 October – Friday 15 December 2017, 10:30am-12pm

Where: Old Shire Office, 49 Watton Street Werribee VIC 3030

What: All experience levels are welcome to these strum and sing along sessions with fellow ukulele players.

Cost: The casual rate is $10 per session, but please get in touch with Steph before Friday if you need to borrow a ukulele.

Who should attend: This event is best suited for adults and seniors.


3. Trivia Night at Werribee Open Range Zoo

When: Friday 24 November 2017, 6:30-10:30pm

Where: Werribee Open Range Zoo, K Road Werribee South VIC.

What: Bring your general knowledge, some friends and enjoy a fun night at the Werribee Open Range Zoo. Grab a meal and a drink in the bistro before the night starts and take in your surroundings. Trivia will kick off at 8pm.

Cost: $15 (Eventbrite booking fee applies)

Who should attend: This is an 18 years+ event only. Teams will be made up of 8 people.


4. Friday Nights at The Hive

When: Friday 27 October 2017 – Friday 30 March 2018, 5-9pm

Where: Chirnside Park, 239 Watton Street Werribee VIC.

What: Join the Werribee Bowls Club on Friday nights for a game of barefoot bowls and a BBQ. Bring your mates, bare feet or flat shoes and enjoy daylight savings the right way. No experience needed. All equipment provided.

Cost: $10 per head will get you a game of bowls and the BBQ.

Who should attend: Suitable for all ages.
